In collaboration with the IHK region Stuttgart, the IHK-Exportakademie GmbH is offering the certificate course “Export and Customs Specialist (IHK)” comprehensive training for employees in the areas of Import, Export, Sales or Distribution departments that are looking to expand on their expertise and know-how in this specific area.
The course teaches basic, praxis-oriented Customs knowledge on the complex import / export and foreign trade relations. Central components of the course are topics such as the tariff classification of goods, the application of incoterms and payment terms, the characteristics of trading goods between EU Member States, customs procedures and export documents, preference and country of origin determination as well as the fundamentals of operational export control compliance measures
